Monster 9 inch team decks have landed for the first time at Wight Trash HQ aka my house. "Finally something for my hideously deformed and enormous 6 toed feet to ride" , said Greg Nowik in a made up conversation I just wrote.
Mouly's new Moon Child graphic now available in our ebay shop through the following link. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wight-Trash-Skateboards-Alex-Moul-90s-Moon-Graphic-Skateboard-Deck-/170730133707?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Skateboarding_Skating_ET&var=&hash=item6d71006450
We've teamed up with the legendary Don Brider and given his 1990's graphic a little Wight Trash twist. Only available in 8.25 to start with and then next month in - 7.5, 7.75, 8, 8.5 and 9 inch as well. Get em while you can.
Mr B provides the music and and Greg provides the skating in the soon to be released TWAGD video.
Exclusive track from The Gentleman Rhymer and some NBD tricks (most of them early grabs admittedly ;) from Mr Nowik.
Will of course keep y'all posted
The video footage of long ago times surfaced recently, the times of You Bet!, a saturday night challenge show that was hosted by Darren Day and Jet from Gladiators (circa 1996).
It shows someone falling off, a lot - John Cattle.
"Our practice was fine, everyone stayed on, and then that bell-ringer Darren Day brought up that it would be watched by about 10,000,000 people ...... and so after visualising that many people.... my legs wouldn't work right!"
excuses, excuses .....
Harvey Mills from Skateboarding Photo magazine came to the Island and made the below linked feature on the Island AM team.
The opening photo is of Jesse Pullin, Toby Booth, Sean Dawson & John Cattle posing in our very own, much loved, 'SkateShack' (sorted for us by Charlie- Headfirst Watersports)
Also featured in the photo is a vacuum cleaner that was en-route to the dump, but instead got taken out the car, tied to a log by its electrical cord, and then pole jammed over by Ash Gulliver. Booom!
-This was the first trick Ash had done since breaking his back.
Huge thanks to Harvey and Charlie

Very Limited Edition - Alex Moul guest board. Comes with a graphical idea by the man himself, which was then designed and put onto the board's face by Tomsy. The Wight Trash Team Deck is the first time we've gone past the 8.25 inches mark and up to a beastly 8.5. And is also the first time we've issued both a traditional Street and a Vert (longer wheelbased) version to choose from. So now all you vert and bowl dawgs have something to shred with too.
Ol' Magic Feet himself has a new graphic out - which comes in 7.5, 7.75 and 8 inch models. This graphic originally came from the paintbrush of Avi, (actual painting size is 3ft high), and is an image of one of Avi's favourite humans - Syd Barrett.
Next years clothing is here and available now! We've got brand new designs on Tshirts and Hoodies, as well as new colours and sizes in your existing favourites. Goto our shop to see more

After a recent trip to New Zealand, Ash Gulliver went 'BIG' while snowboarding and ended up with a broken back.
In true Ash fashion, he discharged himself early, because of boredom, and is now walking around as if nothing has happened. He's was even spotted rolling around on someones board at the recent Cowes Skate Comp.
Expect more handrail madness from our Ash shaped Terminator sooner than his doctors would approve of.
Congratulation to Wight Trash riders Jaymie Sawyer and Jesse Pullen for their wins at Cowes this weekend.
Jaymie Sawyer took 1st in the 16 and over Street Comp and also in the Street Best Trick Comp .....
..... and Jesse Pullin took 1st in the 12-16 Street Comp.
Big ups, High 5's, Bear hugs, and Knucks all round
